I've moved my dolly blog here, because I'm bit bored with Livejournal and maintaining a Wordpress blog was a hassle. I will still keep my LJ to be able to read and comment your entries, and my Finnish BJD story LJ stays here. That's all <3

I bought the twins new wigs from Crobidoll since I thought they might look adorable with the same hair colour. I was quite right although the colour could be even more red/rustlike...oh well. And now some matching outfits! Yes!

It is such a pretty (and hot!) day today, it would have been a pity to waste all this light. So as I have a day off anyway, I chose a setup and photographed my little fluffhead and her black kitty :3

I have a thing for mint green / turquoise at the moment, so when we looted this perfect fabric from a small random flea market, I just knew that I had to make a flared skirt for Meital. The fabric is so thin that this needs a sturdy underskirt, we'll get to that...

I just got home from a friend's summer cottage. In addition to all kinds of traditional Finnish summer pastimes such as sauna, barbecue and getting bitten by mosquitos, there was also doll photography. We had a great and relaxing time <3

Oh whoops, it's June already.



I haven't had as much time and energy for my dolls as I would have hoped :< But here they stay and will stay for a long while <3 And I just started my short but sweet summer vacation, I'm hoping to get some new gear done for them.

I have one payment left of Soom's Adamelli, and this month will bring yet another new face in the group. Some people know already, but those who don't...well, more magpie characters ;) I also participated in some group orders to get new wigs. So as you can see, I've been throughly busy of spending my money ;)

This month will also bring the birthday of my very first BJD, Aegis! I need to cook up something, a photoshoot at least, of my very favourite boy.

After five months my poor little Bygg head is no longer just something that sadly rolls on my doll shelf but a person. Or as person as a doll can be ;D Anyway, my Dikadoll order arrived, and Senka is a complete doll <3

Sometimes I do wonder how can 16cms worth of expensive plastic be this damn cute! While her open-eyed faceplate is elsewhere for a faceup fixing, we're using the sleepy one. If Enne already didn't have a twin, I might go crazy and make her a twin anyway from the sleepy plate. Hmm, triplets...graah....no. Although I must admit that I whipped up a perfect idea, storywise, how I could justify owning an army of cute tiny BJDs. Or maybe an excuse :B

I re-strung the chicklet some time ago with SD-sized string. Actually I used the extra one that came with my EID, what were you thinking, Iple? xD It did take some pulling, but now Hilde poses very well and needs no sueding or tricks. Standing with one foot? No problem!
